The American Nuclear Society awards scholarships to undergraduate students preparing for careers in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field at accredited U.S. institutions. Sophomore- and junior/senior-level awards are available (typically up to $2,000 or more) to ANS student members sponsored by a faculty adviser; selection is based on an essay, academic achievement, and letters of recommendation. ANS awards over $250,000 across its student scholarship programs each academic year.
