Research grants and travel awards from the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining for student and early-career-researcher members working or studying in the materials, minerals and mining sector. The awards support attendance at international conferences, field trips and exchange programmes for overseas learning or research. The scheme is funded by the IOM3 Education and Outreach Trust, a registered charity supporting professional development across the materials cycle.
