Indian Space Research Organisation
A two-week residential summer programme run by the Indian Space Research Organisation for school students, giving foundational grounding in space technology, space science and space applications. It is held simultaneously across seven to nine ISRO and Department of Space centres nationally, and combines classroom lectures with model rocketry, sky gazing, robotics and coding experiments, CanSat payload work, drone demonstrations, facility visits and direct interaction with ISRO scientists. Eligibility is restricted to students in Class 9. ISRO fully sponsors the programme, covering lodging, boarding, course material and travel reimbursement. For the 2026 cycle registration opened on 27 February and closed on 31 March, with selection lists on 13 and 20 April and the camp running 11 to 22 May.
