A four-year undergraduate scholarship and research-support programme at UMBC for high-achieving students who intend to pursue a research PhD or MD/PhD in science, technology, engineering and related fields. Scholars receive early exposure to hands-on laboratory research, faculty and peer mentoring, a summer bridge component and a tight-knit cohort community. The programme has more than 1,400 alumni and around 245 students currently enrolled.
