Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics
An eight-week summer research program run by SIAM and funded by the Simons Foundation, establishing five sites across the United States each year where undergraduate students work with a faculty mentor on projects in applied mathematics and computational science. Participants receive a weekly stipend along with paid housing, meals, and travel. The program is open to undergraduates enrolled at U.S. colleges and universities.
