SIPES Foundation (Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists)
The SIPES Foundation awards annual scholarships to upper-division and graduate students majoring in earth science, geophysics, petroleum or geological engineering at a U.S. college or university who are U.S. citizens with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Application forms are posted online each January, and the Foundation has awarded more than half a million dollars to 291 students since 1981.
