Canada's only national multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices, run by Skills/Competences Canada, a national not-for-profit founded in 1989. Over 500 competitors reach the national event through provincial and territorial competitions, contesting more than 40 skill areas that span construction trades, manufacturing, transportation, services and technology - from carpentry and plumbing to cloud computing and 3D digital game art. The event is paired with more than 50 Try-A-Trade and technology activities open to visiting students, and the organisation runs year-round programming and Skills for Success resources alongside the competition. The 2026 national competition was held in Toronto.
