Space Telescope Science Institute
A summer program at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore that employs about a dozen undergraduates each year to work individually with STScI researchers on space astronomy projects. Work spans data reduction and interpretation, software development, instrument calibration, scientific writing, and public outreach. Participants receive a stipend along with travel and housing assistance.
