Paid summer research placements in the UNSW Faculty of Science, each worth $3,800 for a six-week research project completed by the end of February. Applicants must be enrolled in second year or above of an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science or a science-related discipline, either at UNSW or at another Australian university, and must be able to commit full time at 35 hours per week during normal working hours. Projects must be genuinely research-focused rather than administrative. A student may hold only one such scholarship at a time, and previous recipients are not eligible to reapply. Applications for the 2026 round closed 11:59pm AEST on 15 September 2026.
